Rachel Tank

The Rachel Tank is an original design by Porcelynne. This pattern was created to incorporate a wide variety of body sizes. Use the chart below to determine which size you best fit into. This pattern is available in sizes XS through 3X. Each size has 5 options for bust sizes: A/B, C/D, E/F. G/H and I/J. These cup sizes may not correspond to your ready to wear bra size, choose based on the measurements and not the size you normally wear off the rack.

This design is not supposed to be tight fitting. The patterns were created to fit the large number of each range. If you prefer a snugger fit on the bust, go down a cup size. If you prefer a snugger fit overall, remove 2” from your own hip and waist measurements and choose your size from the chart.

3/4-1 5/8 yard stretch fabric (lace, mesh, jersey, etc). For narrow fabric with a lace edge, you may require up to twice the fabric for proper layout.
25”-35” x 6” wide contrast lace/mesh (you can easily utilize scraps for this pattern piece)
3-4 yards of decorative elastic, fold over elastic or plain 1/4″ elastic for neckline and armhole

Pattern Download
This pattern download contains multiple files – Instructions, Letter Size, A4 Size and A1 (L through 3X have an A0 file size). If sending the large format file to print, be sure to notify the printer to print at 100%. This large format file type can be printed both domestically on a 24×36 paper size and internationally on A1 paper size. The A0 file size of the XL can be printed on a 24×48 paper size, but the 2X and 3X can be printed on 36×48.

Printed Pattern Options
If you would also like to have a printed pattern or printed instructions sent to you, select the checkboxes in addition to the pattern license. Even if you only want the paper pattern, you need to select the license type in addition to the paper pattern check box. The printed pattern is printed in large format and does not contain any color. The instructions are printed in color.

License and Use Agreement of this Pattern
We are now offering several different licensing options for our patterns. If you are a small business and do custom sewing, you can now use our small business licensed version and use this pattern up to 1000 times. If you are a mid-sized business and would like to use our design between 1001 and 5000 times, we have a version for that as well. With this license you can request additional file types including editable Illustrator files, DXF and PolyPattern file types. If you are a corporation and plan to use this design for over 5000 pieces, you will need to purchase the corporate license. You may also request additional file types after purchase.
